About

I'm a writer and freelance journalist from County Down, currently living in Kildare.

My academic background is in English Literature and Creative Writing. In 2021, I graduated with a 2:1 Bachelor’s Degree in English with Creative Writing, before completing a Master’s Degree in Creative Writing the following year, for which I was awarded a 2:1.

In 2023, I moved to Dublin and began a career in Bookselling, a role that allowed me not only to deepen my own writing practice, but which also give me a valuable insight into the Dublin literary landscape.

As a fiction writer, I’m drawn to literary fiction and horror. I have a huge interest in stories that unsettle, not only supernaturally, but also socially. And while I enjoy writing long form, short stories remain a particular fascination of mine.

Alongside fiction, I have a longstanding love of film & tv, especially horror. Recently, I have branched out into freelance journalism, where I write about film, music, culture, and bring to light stories that have shaped how I view the world.

Like every writer my age, I am currently working on a novel.
